Fallas Paredes is a National discount retail store. Located at 1533 N Vermont Ave Los Angeles Ca,90027.It was founded as a family owned business in 1962 in downtown Los Angeles California and since then it has grown to more 200 convenient locations in different states: California, Texas ,Arizona, New Mexico and Nevada .
The store laid out contradicts all of Pacos Underhill strategies to begin with it does not have a decompression zone, even outside to the side walk are item on racks .As soon as you enter to the store items could be seen placed right by the entrance, and most of the clothing is in racks or hang up on the wall. Therefore people tended to go to the left because most of the people were women and their clothing was place on the left side.
Comparing to other major retail store like Ross and T J Max , Fallas Paredes offers no presentation of its name .It is a discounted retail stores but it should also take in consideration appearance of the way the store is lay out makes it seen as a thrift store when is not. It carries most of items that other major stores no longer sell, but Most of those items are in a very good condition. This store need to offer more than just lots of a variety of item .Maybe focusing more in its appearance might help growth this company. Maybe they need to use more tables to display its Clothing .It was perceptible that people were having a hard time getting off their right size from the wall. The aisles are very narrow with too many racks making an uncomfortable experience to people to browse .
